Studio Hire - Bakstage Studio

Welcome to Bakstage Studio. The following terms and conditions constitute an agreement between you ("the Client") and Bakstage Studio ("we", "us", or "our"), regarding the hire and use of our studio facilities and equipment.

1. Booking and Payment

  • Bookings should be made in advance and are subject to availability.

  • Full payment is required to confirm your booking. Payment terms will be specified during the booking process.

  • Cancellation by the Client less than 4 days before the booking date will result in a 50% cancellation fee.

 

2. Use of Studio

  • The studio hire period must include set-up and clean-up times. Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes earlier for your booking. 

  • The Client is responsible for all damage to the studio, equipment, or facilities caused by the Client or any person accompanying the Client during the hire period.

  • Smoking, illegal substances, and carrying dangerous weapons are strictly prohibited within the studio premises.

 

3. Equipment and Facilities

  • The studio provides certain equipment and facilities as part of the hire agreement. A list of available equipment will be provided, and any specific requests should be mentioned at the time of booking.

  • The Client must handle all studio equipment and facilities with care and report any damage or issues immediately.

 

4. Insurance and Liability

  • The Client is responsible for insuring their own equipment and personnel. Bakstage Studio will not be liable for any loss, theft, or damage to the Client's property.

  • Bakstage Studio will not be liable for any injuries sustained by the Client or their personnel during the hire period. The Client agrees to indemnify Bakstage Studio against all claims and expenses arising out of such incidents.

 

5. Intellectual Property

  • The Client retains all rights to the content created during the hire period. However, Bakstage Studio reserves the right to use images or videos taken of the studio's interior and the process of work for its promotional purposes, with the Client's consent.

 

6. Conduct

  • The Client is expected to maintain a professional manner and ensure that all persons accompanying the Client adhere to these terms and conditions.

  • Bakstage Studio reserves the right to terminate the hire agreement without refund if the Client or any person accompanying the Client breaches any of these terms.

 

7. Force Majeure

  • Neither party will be liable for any failure or delay in performance under these terms (other than for delay in the payment of money due and payable hereunder) to the extent said failures or delays are caused by causes beyond that party’s reasonable control.

 

8. Amendments

  • These terms and conditions may be amended or updated by Bakstage Studio from time to time without notice, and the updated version will be effective upon posting on our website.

 

9. Governing Law

  • These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
