Cancellation Policy
By booking an event, you agree to the following: 1. Booking & Payment A deposit of £50 is required to secure the date and time. Your booking is only confirmed once the deposit has been paid. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 24 hours before the event unless agreed otherwise. All payments are non-refundable unless the studio cancels the booking. 2. Cancellation & Rescheduling Cancellations within 7 days of the event will forfeit the deposit. Cancellations within 48 hours of the event require the full balance to be paid. You may reschedule your event once free of charge if requested more than 72 hours in advance (subject to availability). Last-minute rescheduling (under 48 hours) may incur a fee. 3. Event Duration & Time Management The booking time includes setup, event duration, and clean-up unless agreed otherwise. If the event overruns your booked time, an additional hourly fee of £50 will be charged. Please arrive and leave at your agreed times to avoid delays for other bookings. 4. Use of Space & Responsibilities The hirer is responsible for ensuring guests behave respectfully and safely. Any damage caused to studio property, furniture, equipment, or décor will be charged to the hirer. Furniture must be left in its original position unless agreed otherwise. No smoking, vaping, open flames, candles, or hazardous materials are allowed inside the studio. Alcohol is only permitted with prior written permission. 5. Food & Drinks Light snacks and drinks are permitted. Hot food must be approved beforehand. The hirer is responsible for cleaning up any spills, rubbish, and food waste. 6. Safety & Capacity Maximum capacity must not be exceeded (capacity varies depending on event type; typically 30–40 guests). Emergency exits must remain clear at all times. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. 7. Use of Space The hirer is responsible for all guests and their behaviour. Any damage to walls, props, floors or equipment will be charged. No smoking, vaping, open flames or candles inside the studio. Alcohol only with prior written permission. 8. Cleaning Please leave the space tidy:Rubbish in bins, Furniture returned to original position 9. Liability Bakstage Studio is not responsible for personal belongings, third-party suppliers, or injuries caused by misuse of equipment.
